{recipe} Homemade Mozzarella Sticks

This recipe is one that I started making years ago. You can use any type of cheese, when they’re done you can dip in any kind of sauce, or no sauces at all - it's mistake proof, super quick to make and incredible!

Ingredients
6 mozzarella string cheese sticks {i LOVE Crystal Farms Wisconsin brand}
1 cup flour {or Bisquick if you're in a pinch}
1/4 teaspoon salt
Heavy dash garlic powder
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup milk
2 cups Italian seasoned panko bread crumbs
1 teaspoon Italian seasonings
4 cups vegetable oil

Directions
Preheat 4 cups of oil to 350 degrees, or a fryer to 350 degrees. Cut the cheese sticks in half.  Mix together the flour, garlic powder and salt on a plate. Mix together the panko and Italian seasonings on a seperate plate. In a bowl, beat the eggs and milk. Toss each cheese stick into the seasoned flour, then into the beaten egg/milk, and finally into the seasoned panko crumbs. When they are all coated, toss them all into your preheated oil and fry 30 seconds, or until light golden brown. EAT EM UP! Soooooo good…
